Its a shame it cannot be moved to mid or end november Paul, as you say, many birds not ready.

Cant get there tomorrow but will defo make the classic (wouldnt miss it)

I'm sure i heard a whisper that next year it would be moved to the first weekend in december just like the old National, must have been dreaming it.

Its just my opinion but if they want it to become the new national bird show then the date will have to be moved to nov or dec, or the numbers will never be like they used to be......

Would be great to have a national again.....

Just returned from NBSOTY, had a great day.

For those who don't know yet,

Stan the man won about 7 or 8 classes + Best Lizard & 2nd best

Sharon won more than half of the novice classes + best novice

C Jordan had 2nd best novice Lizard

Approx 70 Lizard benched, can we break 100 next year

Also bumped into some bloke with funky new glasses, a dapper suit and no flat cap, El President is the name he goes by now, proper posh he was.
