EAST ANGLIAN LIZARD CANARY ASS SHOW

Postby lizandy on Sat Sep 19, 2009 8:27 pm

Hi all
rob bunting has asked me to say that today he has sent schedules for the show to all paid up members............anybody online who wishes one please contact rob on kings lynn 01553 661122.
also he has asked me to apoligise on his behalf the fact that he forgot to alter his data base on his pc and subsequently on the LCA patronage he still has (the late) barry falkner down as LCA patronage sect, and not dave allen as it should be.

hears hopeing for a good attendance....andy

I spent the day in the cabin and it looks like I'm going to be struggling to have birds ready , definately won't have any for Stafford . They are not through the moult yet and It'll be touch and go , my old Grandad used to say "Breed in May but remember , colourfed birds wont be ready 'till November" , looks like that saying is true for me this year. Even the Classic could be a bit early for me this year ----

well on the good news front iv hurd there is 70+ lizards at stafford this yr and a lot of the east anglian old boys wont make it there ...........so i see no reason why we cant get approaching 100 birds at the EALCA a new novice wants to show but wont unless he gets other novices there to compete against AND I KNOW HOW THAT FEELS so comon guys..and girl get your cars out and put in an appearance....just phone rob on 01553 661122 and do it over the phone.

iv even put up prize money for new novices again this yr so you cant loose lol

All,

Entries phoned into rob just now, off to Kingslynn this Sunday.

Any other Novices, lets be having you, my birds aren't quite right this year but I'll still make the pilgramage. The added bonus is Andy Williamson is putting his hand in his pocket - RESULT.

cheeky git lol....its only cos i felt guilty relieving all that money out of nottinghamshire on saturday darren.

no seriously...i like to support a show each yr with a a specal or two and each yr i will give a bird or 2 to a novice that i think will help them. iv had the same treatment from rob bunting and last yr stan boulton to help my birds improve SO I GIVE A BIT BACK cos i luv the bird world...........well apart from all the bloody politics lol

BEST IN SHOW S Bolton in fact Stan took all the top five awards. best novice was Pete Gooda. Stan's team was outstanding with anyone of his team would have been worthy winners. Huw Evans will be giving me a full report on the show which I will post when I receive it. But the over all quality of the birds was very good in both Novice and Champion classes. With 115 birds entered 25 Novice which is up on last year.
I do think Stan will take some beating this year and maybe it will be his year for the classic, I hasn't won the classic for a number of years.
And hears a question for you who was the last person to win back to back classic's?
your roving reporter David.
