You'll need to line the back wall as it'll get to cold come the winter , but a sheet of ply will do the job I reckon ---set it an inch or two from the brick to stop the damp getting into it .

Good point Paul, the drawback with putting ply on the back is it will give the mickies somewhere to breed....
