New beginning

Postby steve on Wed Oct 07, 2009 6:37 pm

Hello all.

I want to start this thread by saying this has been a really bad year for me, so of you will know to what i refer, others will not, suffice to say, things happened in my personal life that forced me to make some choices, unfortunately i made the wrong ones, one thing lead to another and i found myself in a hole and the more i tried digging my way out, the deeper i fell.

There are many things i regret doing and am not proud of myself by any means.

One of the reasons i had to give up was due to my sons asthma, well i have spoken to my next door neighbour who is retired and lives on his own, he has given me the use of the top of his garden to put up a shed, he has a dog so my son wont go round there,i aim to come back to the lizard fancy next year as i miss them a great deal, and the friends i had made in the lizard fancy.

Now i know some will frown upon this and shake their heads but that is their choice, life is too short to hide among the shadows so i stand tall and will take what ever dues are forthcoming......

Been having a measure up and a bit of a sort out and have worked out that i can use my old 7 x 5 shed if i dismantle it and use the brick wall next door as the back of the shed, i can bolt the back section to the front section to make a 14 ft front, then the 2 5 ft end sections will be altered to become 6ft, this will give me a shed that is 14 x 6.
My intention for inside the shed is to have breeding cages on the back wall (about 40) then on 1 end a block of small cages to use as show training cages and the other end will be 2 flight cages full depth of the shed(6ft) x 18" x 18", the will house silver hens in 1 and gold hens in the other when not in breeding quarters, the cocks will be housed in the breeding cages with dividers removed.

Does this sound guys, your imput is most welcome.............
