Any news of todays topics & outcomes from the LCA committee meeting?

hi folks, attended the meeting on sunday,i will give a brief summery of what wes discussed, im not goimg to go into detail on certain things as im no t sure of the protocol so bear with me. firstly i want to point out that i told the council members that i was as close to an average member as you could get, i was the only one present who had not and did not hold any position on the committe, and apart from the treasurer was the only person who was not a judge,and so the input i gave was hopefolly as a voice for the majority of the members. judging training scheme......big changes that will make the scheme more accesible to many more members.. to be put to a vote at the agm.... ioa membership..important for lca to be involved lizard news..... because of the cost of postege the news letter has in the past been limited on size..it was decided to ask all members with computers to recieve the nl electronically thus allowing more content, but members without pc s will stiill recieve by post, patronages were also discussed and allotted.. maybe dave allen or john martin will fill in some of the gaps in my summery .... cheers all

There will be a full list of the patronage awards posted on the wedsite in the next week or so. Just need to tie-up a few loose ends before I forward it on to Paul to load on to the website.

Yes, thier will be a proposal for a change to the qulification to apply to go on to the judging trainning scheme. It was confirmed at the meeting that all application for judging training must be sent to the patronage secretary or genreal secretary.
I hope that has cleared up a few points. thier will be a full report of the council meeting in the Summer Newsletter.
